About Us

The story of AppiXoft began long before the company was founded in 2014. Back in 1999, the two founders met and discovered they shared a passion for what was then called “office automation”. They agreed on one clear idea: technology should stay in the background, hidden from the user. Everything should just work, magically if necessary…

It was also clear to them that this was not only about the end user. It was just as much about the IT administrator. They saw that every admin had their own way of working. Some were very skilled, others less so. Documentation was often missing or unclear, which made it hard for one admin to understand the quirks of another. The result was confusion, errors and extra work.

They felt that IT management needed a more simple and clear style. At its heart, IT management should be about configuration. It should not depend on long scripts or custom code. Coding can be useful, but it can also become very complex and hard to maintain. A single mistake can cause problems that take days to fix.

From these ideas, the first vision concept was formed. Over time, this vision was tested against every design choice and every product decision. Today we call this field Workspace Management. At the time, the name did not exist. Yet the same values can still be found in both Scense and worXpace.

Scense was the first product to bring these ideas to life. It gave admins a way to manage user environments in a clear and structured way. worXpace builds on the same foundation but goes further. It removes the need for heavy on-premise servers. It makes Workspace Management available anywhere in the world, on any device. It gives admins simple but powerful tools, while hiding complexity from the user.

The heart of AppiXoft has always been about removing limitations. Removing limits for admins means less effort and more clarity. Removing limits for users means more freedom and fewer barriers. This idea has guided us from the very start. And it is the idea that will guide us in the future.
