The Scense Explorer is designed to use at a Scense workstation instead of the Scense Server. For that reason the installation of Scense Explorer at the Scense Server is not advised.
Symptoms
Once the Scense Explorer has been installed at the Scense Server, it will not run properly. Uninstalling the Scense Explorer at the Scense Server will result in problems with the Scense Engine which will disturb the communication between the Scense Clients and the Scense Server.
Cause
Uninstalling of the Scense Explorer at the Scense Server will unregister dll files used by the Scense Engine.
Instruction
The Scense Engine at the Scense Server can be repaired by the following steps:
- At the Scense ISO browse to the file InstallersScense EngineScense Server.msi
- Start the installation of Scense Server.msi
- Choose for repair
This will re-register the dll files used by the Scense Engine and will re-establish the communication between the Scense Clients and the Scense Server.
